Wireless headphones

One for the WHO music mob. Talk to me about wireless headphones, want some over ear ones just for around the house and garden. Not looking to spend any more than £180 or so.
Seen these on amazon which get decent enough reviews, any of them worth a punt?

Bought a pair of beats I think they were to use when running paired with the phone as the wire gets in the way didn't work well then read that as wireless they are the equivalent to holding the phone to your ears constantly so potentially could cause cancer?put me off and back to plug in.

Buster I have the Bose OEs, the first generation wired versions of the SoundLinks.
Still going strong after 4 years of commuting but falling apart now. They still sound brilliant.

Plug in a small adapted that is, which then connects to the headphones.

Bell, look at those Sennheisers in the first post. They're not Bluetooth but wirelessly connect with anything with a headphone jack. You just plug it in to whatever device you need it for and away you go, which is why they're good for TV.

Buster, I hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread very quickly. I was going to start a similar one, and have one question.
I'm looking for some cheap ones to Watch TV on upstairs, I've seen a few pairs for under twenty quid that will be fine, that are Bluetooth. My TV doesn't have Bluetooth on it though, is there a Bluetooth adaptor type thing I can use, and any particular one does anyone know?
Thanks.

I've got these & really don't rate them, they are nowhere as good as wired headphones quality wise!

Just went out and tried some beats, sounded decent enough but reckon they'd become a bit uncomfortable after a while. Opted for some Bose soundlink instead.

I tried out the Beats headphones in the Apple store, thought they were quite good. I wouldn't want them as 1) you look a tit with them on 2) pricey for what they are.
Had a pair of Bose headphones for over 10 years and they still sound good.

Re: Wireless headphones

I have tested various wired and wireless beats headphones. The bass is overpowering to the point of distortion, the sound becomes unclear and unbalanced. They are a fashion accessory.
I have a battered pair of Bose OEs that are clinging on for dear life that shit sound so nice, I hate it when I hear the same music through other means as it just doesn't sound as good.
Horses for courses and all that, but Beats are well marketed, they're not a good product.

Fair enough. To be honest I doubt if notice any difference between a £150 pair and a £400 pair, either sounds good or it doesn't. They're a bit pricier though, don't think they're under £200 for a wireless pair.

Like most things that are popular people will say they are shit to look 'cool'. They're fine, will replace them if they break within a couple of years too.
